Teen Film Festival
The call is going out to all young film makers. The Tri-State’s first Teen Film Festival set for Friday, February 25th, 7-9 pm at the Bullhead City Chamber of Commerce.
All high-school aged film makers (12-17) are encouraged to submit short films and compete for trophies and prizes! Awards will be issued for the best films in the following categories: Drama, Comedy, Animation, Public Service Announcement, Music Video and Patriotic.
Amateurs and novices are welcome. No experience necessary. Free film workshops will be offered by Channel 67 staff at Mohave Accelerated Learning Center, 625 Marina Blvd. Bullhead City, on Saturday, January 8th and Saturday January 15th from 11 am until 1 pm.
Applications are available at Bullhead City Hall, 2355 Trane Road, at the Boys and Girls Club, 2250 Highland Road, Bullhead City, and online at www.bullheadcity.com, click on “Recreation”. Submissions must be received by Friday, February 11, 2011.
