Public Open House for Bullhead City Area Transportation Plan
The Arizona Department of Transportation and the City of Bullhead City have scheduled an open house on the draft Bullhead City Transportation Study. The open house will give the public an opportunity to review the study and provide input regarding the future transportation needs of the growing Bullhead City area.
The open house will be held between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 at the Mohave Community College Bullhead City campus, Room 600, 3400 Highway 95.
Transportation planners will provide a brief presentation at 6:15 p.m. on the study’s progress and respond to questions. Maps of the study area and informational exhibits will be available for viewing.
The draft plan will recommend multimodal transportation improvements for planning periods of 5, 10, and 20 years. Multimodal transportation is an important component of the city’s transportation system as the population continues to increase. The plan combines alternative modes of transportation including personal vehicles, public transportation, bicycles, and pedestrians into one system. The plan will include tools that the city can use to accommodate future growth and development.
